POSITION SUMMARY:

Supports safety training processes by training document scanning and data entry and as well as report creation. Provides administrative support to EHS Director and EHS Coordinators as needed.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assures that all locations have updated training database details by assuring documentation is properly scanned and recorded.

2. Generates various training reports and communications to appropriate production management allowing a visual snapshot of personnel qualifications and compliance readiness.

3. Assists the EHS Director with project work related to compliance, SOP and Work Instruction training and documentation.

4. Maintains confidential employee details relative to employee training, health and medical records.

5. Answers plant and production manager questions that may address individual qualifications and readiness to perform specific functions and job-related tasks.

6. May support certain WC related administrative tasks as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· 1-2 years prior experience working with personnel, training or medical related databases and records administration and management

· Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality

· Effectively plan and demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, and prioritization skills

· Demonstrates ability to multitask, effectively accomplishing required priorities

· Solid attention to detailed information.

· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: This job operates in an office environment and is largely sedentary, although will require navigation of the production floor. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
