Alight is Looking for A DB Client Calc Automation Manager I

As someone with a developed problem- solving mentality and expert knowledge, you will be working on the most complex tasks that impact the lives of thousands. You will have the opportunity to develop tools, own advanced projects and identify high-level and complex solutions. You will be able to turn a client’s requirements into artifacts to support a well-functioning system that you will lead into the acceptance testing process. You will get to do all of this while interacting and working in-person and virtually with colleagues from our offices all over the world.

Your Impact as A DB Client Calc Automation Manager I

• Problem solves complex tasks and have a solutions-oriented mindset

• Understand needs of client, translate client requirements into system specifications, and ensure all requirements are met when completed

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and tool enhancements

• Create detailed test plans for all phases of testing

• Delivers acceptance testing that meets the highest expectations of client

• Review and approve others’ programming of provisions and testing results

• Develop functionality to process complex provisions

• Opportunities to deliver as a team and as an individual

• Identifies, plans, and manages process improvement projects to create year-to-year efficiencies

Knowledge and Expertise

• Creative problem-solving skills and advanced analytical skills to be able to overcome obstacles and finish projects without detailed procedures

• Strong Defined Benefit knowledge

• Demonstrated ability to develop and coach others

• Advanced management and organizational skills with ability to adapt to change

• Effective communication internally and externally using technical and common language

Preferred Skills

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills along with experience with MS office suite

• Experience with SAS, SQL, Visual Basic, Python, Power BI, Angular

• Familiarity with data analysis, data manipulation and reporting

Education

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, computer science, finance, MIS, or equivalent work experience

5+ years of relevant work experience

2+ years at Alight working in Calc Group (not required, but a plus)
