Reports to Chief Human Resources Officer
Summary/Objective
This is not a remote or work from home position
The Human Resources Generalist will support all phases of Onboarding, Offboarding, Recruitment, Leave of Absences (FMLA, STD), Benefit Administration, Open Enrollment and Employee Training/Workshops.
The primary responsibility of the Human Resources Benefits Specialist will provide a high level of administrative support preparing, maintaining, and updating various benefit systems and workflows associated with benefits and self-insurance
The Human Resource Specialist also ensures HR practices are executed in accordance with all federal and multi-state regulations and that plan provisions are followed.
Essential Functions
In addition from to time the specialist will:
· Generate New Hire Offer Letters
· Conducts all phases of the Preboarding and Onboarding process
· Initiate Preboarding process through th ePayChex system
· Ensure new hires have completed Preboarding prior to start date & follows up on incomplete tasks when needed
· Leads New Hire Virtual Orientations to review Benefits, Policies, Handbook, Employee portal, etc.
· Strong communication and collaboration with hiring managers is essential.
· Completes Section 2 and Section 3 of I-9’s
· Creates, maintains, and updates Employee Personnel Files
· Supports the full-cycle recruitment and interview processes.
· Assists hiring managers with interview preparation, recruitment and candidate screening.
· Assists with processing of Employee Terminations and completing all termination paperwork.
· Collaborates with Health/Medical benefit vendor to support company health allowance program
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment, and employees are expected to be in the corporate office of Stamford when not visiting field offices. This position requires up to 40% travel -local to the New England Market.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Required Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
· Masters Degree in Human Resources or Employee Relations a plus
· Experience with PayChex/HR or other HRIS Systems
· Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Preferred Education and Experience
· At least 5-7 years Human Resource experience

Pay: $80,000.00 – $94,000.00 per year
