Job Responsibilities:

• Actively partners with assigned business teams to develop and execute short- and long-term plans that effectively address tactical as well as strategic business priorities. Understands unique business needs and nuances and identifies opportunities to maximize business performance. Develops and recommends actions and/or delivers agreed solutions to maximize Team Member, Manager and Company performance. Provides strategic and tactical guidance and support to management in a variety of areas – including, but not limited to: talent management, employee engagement, individual and organizational performance, org and role design, etc… Drives effective leadership and proactive talent and engagement practices within assigned business groups. Designs and/or delivers training and development solutions that address specific business needs. Leads and/or supports the execution of full cycle Merger & Acquisition related activities within assigned business groups (pre and post integration).
• Effectively drives and delivers Company-wide HR and division-specific programs and processes within the business – in partnership with Senior HR Leadership and Corporate HR. Sample deliverables include but are not limited to: Team Member engagement / listening strategy, new hire orientation, new leader assimilation, performance evaluation, compensation, individual and leadership development, recognition, talent and succession planning. Effectively manages communications of HR programs, processes and policies to Company Management and Team Members. Participates in the development and execution of new HR programs, processes, and projects that align with agreed HR and business priorities.
• Effectively directs, develops, coaches and supports a national, field-based HR Business Partner team. Serves as point of escalation for TMs to address ideas, issues and concerns. Ensures the team has the tools, resources and knowledge to execute on key organizational initiatives. Monitors and takes action to optimize individual and team performance, including the sharing of effective, real-time feedback. Prioritizes and drives a development culture within the team.
• Provides guidance and support to HR Business Partners for a variety of employee relations issues to ensure effective resolution. Directly manages and resolves more complex issues, soliciting partnership with Sr. HR Leadership and/or Legal where appropriate. Provides coaching, guidance and execution support to Managers and Team Members related to HR policies and procedures, individual performance issues, compliance issues, disciplinary actions and terminations. Ensures all management and HR practices within the business are in compliance with relevant laws and Company policies and procedures. Investigates, responds to and drives resolution of workplace disputes. Where appropriate, recommends best practices that may help to ensure a positive Employer-Team Member relationship and promote a higher level of employee morale and engagement.
• HR Data and Analytics – effectively analyzes, articulates and acts upon notable talent trends.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of directly related experience working in an HR Manager, HR Business Partner and/or Human Resources Generalist capacity.
• Minimum 2 years experience directly managing HR professionals within a Corporate environment, leadership of virtual Team Members is a plus.
• Experience and/or exposure to full cycle data analytics – from reporting and analysis of data to interpretation, presentation and application of insights preferred.
• Demonstrated success in prior HR Business Partner role(s) that include hands-on experience driving, developing and/or delivering strategic talent management, succession planning, employee engagement, OD, and advanced meeting/training facilitation within the business.
• Proven prior success directly managing the work and performance of others within a professional environment.
• Professional demeanor/presence with well-established interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, time management and prioritization skills, change management.
• Proven role-relevant experiences and capabilities that enable one to effectively carry out the essential functions of the role – including, but not limited to:
  • Proven ability to develop and sustain successful and collaborative partnerships with key business leaders and HR colleagues at all levels.
  • Expert capabilities in performance management and employee relations, including investigation and positive resolution of complex cases.
  • Proven ability to effectively lead and manage change within the organization
  • Ability to facilitate business meetings and trainings
  • Working knowledge of relevant state / federal laws and generalist knowledge of recruitment, compensation practices, HRIS functionality
• Prior experience effectively leading and/or participating in cross-functional projects.
• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification preferred.
• Experience with Workday (HRIS) and PeopleInsight (Data Reporting & Analytics) preferred.
• Job requires approximately 10% domestic travel.
