Job Description
Alpha Omega Construction Group, Inc. has proudly served the Southeast as an award winning Construction Company for over two decades and we are in need of a warehouse associate to join our growing team!
This position interacts with general contractors, co-workers, and material handlers. Receives, stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and products by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities
Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas.
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.
Assembles orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to customers and/or storage.
Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed, and uses computer to enter records.
Drives vehicle to transport items from warehouse to other locations or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities and Experience:
Proven warehouse experience
Good organizational and time management skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
