Immediate Position Available. Alpine Painting (Paterson, NJ), an established and growing Commercial & Industrial Painting, Specialty Flooring, Welding & Fabrication Contractor is now accepting applications for a creative, & persistent individual to join our company. You will be working within a structured, people centric team. The People & Culture HR Administrator will work together with our Culture Manager and HR Department to recruit, onboard and improve our overall company culture.

ABOUT THE JOB – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruiting/Hiring:

• Work with our Marketing Department to create exciting job ads and ensure prominent placement on job boards.
• Utilize a standardized system for evaluating potential candidates in each role.
• Perform phone and in person interviews with the help of department managers.
• Timely follow up regarding employment status with all candidates to ensure a positive experience.

Onboarding:

• Organize hiring packages with the help of HR.
• Create a FAQ sheet for all new hires.
• Distribute Alpine Swag Bags.
• Set up initial doctor examinations and drug testing with the help of the safety department.
• Orchestrate welcome introductions with owners and department heads of the company.

Promoting Career Growth & Continuing Education Opportunities:

• Demonstrate career paths through use of visuals for various positions within Alpine. Utilize our Organizational chart and other career ladders to explain the opportunity for growth.
• Create a check-in/review system to help our teams evaluate the progress of each new hire.
• Encouraging employees to obtain and maintain certifications.
• Promote the various certification opportunities for our field craft workers and office staff.

Supporting the Human Resources:

• Ensuring Data integrity with our employees and customers.
• Contacting our customers and updating customer/prospect/vendor/employee information in our database.
• Assist other department, specifically sales & marketing with CRM platform and database/pipeline management.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Two Years of College are preferred
• HR background
• A strong sense of urgency and initiative, Can-do attitude
• Be a team player with the ability to be diplomatic, take direction, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Flexibility to shift work priorities and adapt to an ever-changing environment

SCHEDULE:

• Full Time – 40hrs. Per week
• Monday through Friday 8:30-4:30, with some flexibility
• Working from our office in Paterson, NJ

COMPENSATION:

• $50K-60K, based on experience + Discretionary bonus tied to company success
