Full Job Description
Position Summary:
Alta Dynamics is hiring an acoustic software engineer at the junior-senior level to join the software R&D team. The candidate must have demonstrated expertise in acoustics. He/she must have experience of performing analysis using computer codes. Excellent communication skills are desired.
Detailed qualifications:
- MS or PhD in acoustics or a closely related field
- 2+ years of experience in software development, commercial or academic
- Good understanding of one of the numerical methods, FEA, SEM or BEM
- Excellent mathematical knowledge and analytical skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Programming skills using C/C++, python and matlab
- Strong independent problem analyzing and problem-solving skills
- Experience with commercial software, such as Actran, Ansys or Comsol
