Job Description:* The Marketing/ Business Development Associate position provides administrative support to the Business Development team, Office Manager, and Company Staff, while contributing to the overall growth of the SDC brand and our services by enhancing our marketing efforts. This is a full-time position with work hours generally from 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday (substantially within our York office). The position handles a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities, so qualified candidates must be able to multi-task, as well as work alone and as a member of a team with an attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
As a Marketing/ Business Development Associate, you will be joining the Team in a role that is at the core of our business, strengthening our portfolio of work, attracting new Clients, and retaining our loyal Clients. The applicant must be eager to understand our office and professional portfolio and use their skillsets towards meeting our business objectives. We look for a candidate who enjoys analyzing trends in marketing data and can present the information to the management team concisely and clearly without error. In addition to the digital and content marketing responsibilities of this role, the ideal candidate must also be willing to perform business development and administrative tasks to help us meet deadlines and function as an award-winning design firm.
Our ideal candidate has a minimum of a two-year degree in Marketing, or at least 2 years of experience in marketing or a related field. We expect you to work hard and have fun while utilizing your experience to better SDC. Experience in digital marketing, graphic layout, and page design is required, and web design experience is desired, but not necessary. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Roles, Responsibilities, and Requirements:
Social Media
1. Own the day-to-day management of social campaigns and goals to promote the SDC brand and grow recognition and interactions, based on the strategic plan for social media.
2. Develop content for SDC’s social media accounts. This shall include producing, photographing, and editing photos and videos to be used across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram).
3. Coordinate with Project Managers to determine appropriate content to be posted for social media.
4. Pitch new content ideas for all social media platforms that can engage an audience.
5. Post all unique social media content, monitor platforms daily for shareable posts, and track analytics as defined by the social media strategic plan.
6. Create a backlog of content to be used across social media platforms. 7. Create and strategize monthly email content to coincide with social media metrics.
Campaigns & Marketing Content Development
1. Generate a variety of marketing campaign concepts for review with the business development team, such as blogs, monthly mailers, testimonials, client surveys, etc.
2. Develop a strategy for execution of marketing campaigns and implement the preferred concepts.
3. Analyze performance data and provide interpretation and conclusions of selected campaigns.
4. Complete SDC website updates and maintenance via WordPress Engine.
5. Develop digital marketing packages for existing markets, services, and other packages as determined. Examples may include firm overviews, service brochures, project sheets, and market experience documentation.
6. Coordinate incoming sponsorship opportunities.
