Altius Home Health is seeking an RN in Denver/Aurora area, preferably with home health experience, who is responsible and reliable, is able to work independently, has good communication skills and dedicated to providing quality patient care at home. The perfect candidate will be working closely with our Director of Nursing and providing home health visits. We are in need of someone to start either part-time or full-time, someone who is willing to grow with the company and become part of our caring team.ResponsibilitiesThe following duties include, but not limited to the following:

• Assumes self-responsibility for all direct patient care activities as indicated by the Registered Nurse.
• Gives direct patient care according to the individual patient needs as directed by the patient care plan.

• Provides appropriate information to assist the Registered Nurse in the preparation and maintenance of an effective patient care plan.
• Reinforces instructions given to the patient by the physician and Registered Nurse and refers new needs for instruction to the Registered Nurse.
• Performs prescribed treatment and nursing measures for the patient under specific facility guidelines.
• Notifies the Registered Nurse of significant findings or changes in the patient’s physical or mental conditions.
• Charts nurses notes in an informative and descriptive manner reflecting the care provided and the resident’s/patient’s response to that care.
• Administers prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies; provides basic wound care including cleaning and bandaging injured areas and manages IV’s.
• Provides respiratory care to include oxygen and medication delivery.
• Calibrates, cleans, sets up, maintains and troubleshoots all patient related equipment and instruments. Assembles and stores cleaned equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

.Qualifications:

• Current and active license to practice as an RN in Colorado or multi-state license
• Copy of updated TB results/Chest x-ray
• Up-to-date first aid and CPR certification
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccine

Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $45.00 – $55.00 per hourSchedule:

• Monday to Friday
