We have an immediate opening for an energetic, passionate & experienced Full Time Professional to join our team as a Logistics Analyst.

This position is responsible for collecting, interpreting, and analyzing various types of logistics data including the availability of product, reliability of transport and delivery, and other data related to product supply chain management and distribution. The Logistics Analyst will support cross-functional initiatives, projects, process improvement, and system enhancements. In addition, the analyst will analyze data to predict and/or improve services, processes, or costs, providing recommendations on findings. This position will have customer facing and senior leadership facing interactions, requiring strong interpersonal skills.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree preferred, and/or equivalent training and experience
• Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience working in Logistics, Supply Chain or DC Operations field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong functional knowledge of MS Excel.
• Proven experience working with large data projects.
• Ability to manage small to medium projects as needed.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills along with analytical and interpretative skills are a must.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required.
• Strong organizational skills including the ability to prioritize work, seek input and multitask.
• Analytical skills, solid general business acumen and detail-oriented are also required

POSITION OUTCOMES/DELIVERABLES:

• Utilize reporting and analytics to manage logistics business and make data driven decisions.
• Support International Logistics and DC Operations to ensure a streamlined business is functioning and meeting SLA’s.
• Manage business partner relationships with third party vendors including: forwarders, broker’s, transportation providers and small parcel carriers.
• Manage day to day movement of goods internationally, domestically, and small parcel.
• Coordinate transportation for store closing and openings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Supply Chain team with reporting and analysis
  • Responsible for developing and implementing reporting to improve logistics efficiency while reducing transportation expenses to include international, domestic, and small parcel.
  • Develop carrier scorecards, manage carrier KPI’s and participate in quarterly business reviews.
  • Reviews logistics processes and procedures; identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to maximize delivery efficiency.
  • Extract data, develops reports, and uses critical thinking to validate current processes and adjusts as needed.
  • Produce daily/weekly/monthly reporting for leadership team
• Manage international, domestic, and small parcel freight movement
  • Anticipate, provide, and facilitate problem resolution on all shipment issues in order to meet or exceed satisfaction of customers and internal key stakeholders.
  • Manage and communicate tracking information for various transportation modes including truckload, LTL, drayage, Ocean, Parcel, and Air.
  • Investigate product overage, shortage; complete appropriate documentation and file carrier claims as needed.
  • Support transportation carrier selection efforts and changes to preferred carrier usage within the network.
  • Review invoices and shipping documents to insure accuracy and send invoices to Accounts Payable to be paid. Research and resolve billing issues.
• Vendor Management and Support
  • Provide daily support to 3PL for DC and Logistics issues
    • Liaison with the DC Operations team, transportation partners and internal business partners to resolve all open issues (Late Delivery, Missing Product, Over/Short, Missing ASNs)
    • Provide regular status updates and communication to business teams for issues involving Logistics
• Support Store Openings and Closings
  • Coordinate the transportation of merchandise and fixtures for store openings/closings/remodels
  • Ensure timely pickup, storage, and delivery of transferred merchandise to stores and/or distribution center.
  • Assist store managers with pick-up and delivery issues
• Manage documentation for Logistic roles
  • Ensure all SOP documents are up to date for Logistics processes
  • Update SOPS as needed to account for process updates or systems changes
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by leadership
