It defines what an Airline intends to fly for a specific future period including routes, timing, aircraft assignments, and rotations. At the same time, it must satisfy operations constraints (crew, aircraft maintenance, airport curfew, passenger types (business, leisure, booking habits) and factor uncertain future environment (competition, pandemic evolution). At Amadeus, we want to re-invent the future of Network Planning with “SkySuite”; the next generation optimization, simulation, and data analytics solutions to help airlines improve their efficiency and profitability.

Are you the next entry-level Associate Software Engineer we are looking for?

You will support projects through the design, implementation and testing of software solutions.

You will prepare and build solutions by determining and designing system specifications following coding standards.

In this role you’ll:
Code the methods based on the design document.

Create test scenarios and test code.

Maintain high quality coding and validation standards throughout the development cycle.

About the ideal candidate:
Recent University Graduate with Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

1 year of experience in software development preferred, internship(s) or prior experience

Technical Competencies:
Hands-on experience in coding .NET framework, C#, Java

Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.

Familiar with relational and non-relational databases (MSSQL and MongoDB preferred).

Understanding of software development life cycle and the Scrum/Agile development process.

Familiar with version control tools such as GIT and proper branching techniques is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.

Ability to analyze objectives, considers options and plans
