Amari Consulting is looking for an experienced web designer/developer who can continue to build on the success of our company. The ideal candidate would be willing and eager to work on multiple platforms and be flexible with working on existing sites (done by Amari Consulting or not) or they would be building sites from the ground up.
The ideal candidate is a highly resourceful and innovative developer with extensive experience in the layout, design, and coding of websites, specifically using WordPress.
Must have the ability to create pixel-perfect WP websites from a design and have examples to prove it. Please also include your experience with Understrap and ACF.
We’re looking for a smart, capable, critical thinking, Front End Developer to join our team on a long-term basis.
No agencies.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain websites mostly using WordPress CMS
- Ability to do mobile responsiveness
- Adhere to W3C coding standards
- Record personal time logs using the company time tracker
- Update project management software
Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong communication skills via phone, Slack, and email
- Ability to prioritize, organize and get work done efficiently and effectively
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a project management software
- Understands standard development practices and graphic design
- Experience with JavaScript, SQL, HTML, jQuery, CSS, and basic PHP
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, SEO, SEM, SMM
