Amber Kinetics, Inc. is looking for a UI Software Engineer to create and maintain user interfaces for our green energy technology control software.
The position will be responsible for the full lifecycle of architecture, development, and testing of user interface software. A meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented mindset is required for this role, which will be responsible for the safe and robust operation of energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing UI elements and applications to control Amber Kinetics’ energy storage solution systems
- Working closely with the team lead to integrate front-end UI heads in to the existing headless control software
- Taking the lead on writing UI applications and controls
Required Experience and Skills
- 3+ years’ experience with Typescript or Javascript
- Experience with React.js
- Expert knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and best practices
- Proficiency with Git (or similar version control system)
- An ability to independently produce reliable and effective code
- Gregarious nature and ability to interface with engineers from various technical backgrounds in order to support various company functions
Desirable Experience and Skills
- Experience with Redux
- Electron.js
- Knowledge CSS extension language(Less or Sass)
- Experienced building responsive applications across variety of devices using modern CSS3 techniques
- Knowledge of D3
- Proficient in designing interfaces and building clickable prototypes using (AdobeXD, Sketch, InVision, etc)
- Enzyme and Chai for testing
