THE SKILLS SET NEEDED
- Experience with the operational assigned groups including but not limited to Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC shops and Energy Management.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, with an emphasis in Co-Generation to solve problems and develop operational standards.
- Experience managing projects at times and interacting with contractors, managers, staff, and customers.
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory code compliance for the Joint Commission, NFPA codes, Domestic Water Quality standards, and ASHRAE standards.
- Experience monitoring energy usage and analyzing building systems to determine the extent of conservation opportunities; suggesting changes in system operations, systems configurations, and other changes that will affect economics of operation.
- Experience ensuring continued central plant and Co-Generation operations, data collection, support the timely filing of emissions and energy benchmarking reports on a regular basis, Environment of Care (EOC) primary member for Utility discipline and report-outs, and primary oversite of Utility contract procurement.
