Job Description

• This position needs to have working knowledge and understanding of insurance and managed care contracts including other complex payment methodologies to ensure prompt and accurate reimbursement.

• Working knowledge and understanding of Medicare billing and payment reimbursement for hospital billing.
• Utilize and understand different State and Federal statutes and regulations, guidelines and systems, and perform the account follow-up function with all payers and government agencies to obtain maximum and correct reimbursement of accounts receivables.
• Proactively interacts with insurance companies, government agencies and/or patients to obtain maximum and correct reimbursement of accounts receivable. In addition, this position works with all payers and internal resources to identify and resolve issues that hinder account payment .Assists with department workload and provides support to staff, as directed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 – $46,000.00 per year
