POSITION TITLE: Coordinator – Learning & Development
REPORTS TO: Manager – Learning & Development
POSITION SUMMARY:
Execution of weekly onboarding for NYC hires and support for NYC office engagement. Responsible for administration and support of learning programs for corporate offices (Teammate Training Program, Leadership Development Series, Close Knit Co-Mentorship, etc.). Primary administrator of AEO Academy (LMS).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Executes weekly onboarding for new hires at our NYC office location
- Creates a welcoming and exciting day 1 experience for incoming associates
- Facilitates day 1 and 2 orientation presentation (in-person and virtually as needed)
- Acts as a concierge for new hires, helping them connect with the right people, showing them around the office and troubleshooting common issues in their first week
- Work closely with our Desktop IT partners to ensure New Hires are set up and working properly on day one with laptops and needed technology
- Manages employee files for our NYC population
- Acts as the primary administrator for AEO Academy: creating reports, helping business partners navigate the system, communicating system changes and outages, etc.
- Creates and manages modules in AEO Academy to support learning initiatives
- Collects and organizes registration information for learning programs
- Helps create and distribute communication for learning programs
- Creates and maintain calendars for learning programs and update as needed
- Initiates expenses for Talent Management through our procurement system
- Supports associate engagement initiatives for our NYC office in partnership with corporate communications, AEO Foundation, recognition and others
- Supports Talent Management initiatives as it relates to the NYC office
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree Required
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Experience presenting in front of small groups
- Strong prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and planning skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
- Knowledge and experience with learning management systems a plus
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
