Telecommunications and VoIP Technician
We are looking for a well-rounded technician with a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills to join us. You must be a self-motivated person with good business/common sense and excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
Onsite Telecommunication Installations & Programming.
Troubleshoot and resolve systems, networking, service connections, and VoIP-related issues.
Provide friendly and professional client service in person, over the phone, and via e-mail.
Keep systems and data secure by upholding security policies and passwords.
Provide technical training to end-users.
Communicate with carrier tech support teams to escalate issues and provide regular status updates.
Maintain records of changes, procedures, and document service work using ConnectWise, our Client Management system.
Provide rotating on-call coverage from 7 am to 10 pm 7 days a week.
Accurately report inventory on hand as well as what was used on installations and during service work.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Our ideal candidate will have phone system programming experience, preferably with Panasonic, Zultys, and or Allworx. You will need to know your basic 25-pair and 4-pair color codes and understand basic troubleshooting. Although we do telephone system and VoIP installations, we also do service work. Knowledge of networking, APs, Routers, Switches & PCs is essential. We can train on phone systems, but you must understand networking.
Our regular work hours are 8 hours Monday to Friday between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm with ½ hour lunches. Some work outside of those times and on weekends is required, as dictated by our customers.

Pay is commensurate with knowledge and experience. We pay based on merit, not length of service. Periodic bonuses are also possible.
