The Human Resource Business Partner provides strategic HR leadership and manages human resources activities including planning, developing, recommending and implementing HR activities, policies, procedures and programs for the Morrisville, PA Site. This role manages activities related to staffing, employee education and training, management development, employee relations, benefits and salary administration. The HRBP position is responsible for aligning strategic business objectives with employees and management and serves as a consultant to the commercial, R&D, office staff, plant and production managers. The successful HRBP acts as an employee champion and change agent. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit’s financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.
Preferred Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business related field required
PHR or SHRM certification a plus
Experience: 5+ years of experience demonstrating increasing responsibility as an HRBP
Project leadership and management
High volume recruiting
Leading individuals and teams
Experience managing the total employee lifecycle
Experience in employee engagement in a manufacturing environment
Experience utilizing HRIS system (ADP, Paycor, etc.)

Partner with leadership team to develop organizational strategies and ensure organizational capability
Ensure departments have the resource capability and bench strength to achieve business goals and growth strategies
Provide leadership, guidance and counsel to leaders on matters related to talent, organizational change, and human capital
Champion employee relations and provide expert recommendations to leadership team
Provide thought leadership to management to ensure understanding and execution of strategic plans, workforce and succession planning, and HR strategies
Actively participates in the development of long and short term strategic plans and ensures alignment of HR strategies in support of company goals. Supports programs, policies, and procedures with leadership.
Develops an HR plan aligned with business objective to include organizational design, talent management, goal alignment, and communications
Support critical HR processes, which include staffing, employee relations, talent review process, performance review process, compensation processes, and other relevant HR initiatives such as policy guidance and interpretation
Partners with the safety team on health, safety and environmental activities of the facility and ensures associates are working safely
Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the leadership team to develop solutions, programs and policies
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
Participates in developing, evaluating and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met
Lead talent acquisition process for both hourly employees and professional level on-site and attached to the plant
Maintain accurate documentation and recordkeeping at the site
