Amerisure is currently recruiting for a Development & Talent Management Learning Manager to support our Farmington Hills Headquarters. The ideal candidate will also possess the following skill set.

Summary Statement

Design, implement and evaluate training, development and talent management programs that facilitate the professional development and continuous learning of the organization. Executes the talent development and management strategy to deliver business aligned programs and tools to support the organizations goals.

Essential Tasks/Major Duties

• Manage, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Develops, manages and executes the companys training & development strategy and programs that drive business results, employee engagement and advancement, and retention.
• Deploy LMS strategy to best leverage LMS solution and ensure platform and related training offerings support the organizations needs; chairs the LMS governance committee.
• Partner with HR Consulting team and leadership to understand the talent needs across the organization, align on priorities, approaches, processes, and tools.
• Develop and implement learning and development strategies and programs that drive business results, employee engagement and advancement, and retention.
• Develop job specific leadership and technical competency models for all levels, which will aid in the assessment of capabilities of people for recruiting, performance management, learning, succession, and development planning.
• Lead the talent review and succession planning processes, in collaboration with human resources consultants.
• Measure the success of the program through metrics such as retention, job performance, and career progression. Continually improve measurements for success by applying new metrics to the programs that this position supports.
• Manage the new hire orientation/onboarding and other employee training/development programs (ie. Emerging Leaders, Leadership Academy, etc); make recommendations for new and/or updated training/development programs to meet business needs.
• Research latest developments in programs, management and leadership development areas and keeps abreast to serve as a subject matter expert and consultant to the team and organization regarding how to hire and retain all types of business roles.
• Manage the Professional Education Program (PEP) including program design and administration.
• Lead the Champions program planning.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Bachelors Degree in Business, OD/Leadership, Human Resources or equivalent work-related experience.
• 7 years progressive experience in learning, development and/or talent management roles.
• 1 year leadership experience, preferred.
• Experience in Talent Development program management including needs analysis, design, implementation, delivery and program metrics and reporting
• Demonstrated change management skills and experience.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to be agile, build relationships, influence and gain commitment of internal business partners and key stakeholders with the ability to effectively provide consultative services, guidance, drive change and produce results through others.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to function in a fast paced, highly visible, and changing environment.
• Ability to travel up to 5%.
