Seeking shipping and receiving clerk

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices.
• Unload and unpack incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments, including proper labeling and documentation.
• Utilize heavy-duty forklifts or overhead cranes to safely load and unload materials.
• Perform inventory control and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve any shipment discrepancies or issues.
• Safely operate material handling equipment, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Overhead crane experience is a plus
• Proven experience as a shipping and receiving clerk in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in operating heavy-duty forklifts or overhead cranes.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures, including handling of hazardous materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately inspect incoming and outgoing shipments.
