This position is instrumental in developing and implementing standard operating procedures for receiving, handling, storage, and transportation of products/materials, while improving quality controls and adhering to regulatory standards. Demonstrated success in crafting and negotiating contracts with vendors to secure cost-effective terms and conditions for van, LTL, flatbed, rail, as well as other modes of transportation. Analytical professional with experience in planning, establishing, and directing execution of targeted transportation and logistics management processes aimed at improving efficiency and reducing costs. Articulate communicator with credible history of cultivating collaborative partnerships with interdepartmental teams, executive management peers, and key stakeholders to realize strategic business goals.
