Must be willing to split time between Seminole and Dunedin clinics!
As a Patient Intake Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative and Patient Intake support to ensure efficient operations of RealWave medical offices Billing and Patient Scheduling Departments. You will support the Billing and Scheduling department through a variety of tasks including speaking to patients to collect PHI and adding patients to the logs. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality, and in a timely manner to ensure efficient billing operations of RealWave treatment centers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Answer calls and emails in a welcoming manner with excellent customer service-based focus.
o Answer staff questions outside the Billing Department relating to patient billing to ensure patients questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
· Perform Billing tasks with a high degree of accuracy to include:
o Posting charges
o Completion of claims to payers
o Submit billing data to the appropriate insurance providers
o Process claims
o Resolve denial/rejection instances
o Follow-up on unpaid insurance claims
o Provide customer support with patients that have questions or concerns regarding statements or accounts
· Be able to work remotely with minimal supervision with high attention to detail.
· Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.
· Help Manager of Billing Operations answer Billing Intern and other employee billing questions.

Education and/or Experience
Highschool Diploma or equivalent
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
