Come build with us.About the Role:The AngelList Design team works at the intersection of brand and product to create a consistent, engaging and empowering experience for both Investors and Innovators. We minimize drag and churn by keeping teams as small as possible, built on mutual respect, high trust and low management. Designers and engineers take direct ownership of brand, product and marketing experiences, enabling small teams to define and ship projects without barriers. It is a rewarding environment where self-starters and driven individuals are able to learn, grow and thrive.You will collaborate with a team of multifaceted designers, growth marketers, design technologists, and product leads, to help extend the AngelList Brand, maintain the digital design system, and contribute to GTM experiences. The Brand Design team is ultimately responsible for how AngelList shows up in the world. This includes everything from our website and social media to our product and events. You will be reporting into our Brand Design Lead.You will:Ideate, design, and produce best-in-class digital design solutions for complex brand, marketing and communication challengesWork and deliver on high-impact, high visibility projects and initiativesCollaborate cross-functionally with marketing, design, and product teams to help execute creative GTM materials including digital experiences, product demos, blog articles & case studies, sales collateral, email & social media campaigns, swag, and moreSet a high-bar for design quality and ensure consistency in brand work across all channelsMaintain and evolve our brand design systems, brand guidelines, and digital component and content marketing libraryYou have:5+ years of relevant design experience within brand, marketing, and digital designExceptional attention to detail and strong understanding of core design skills—pixel perfection, typography, layout, interaction, and visual expressionExperience working with design technologists & developersAbility to leverage, maintain, and evolve the brand’s digital design systemAbility to quickly iterate, share ideas, and receive feedbackAbility to proactively seek out information needed and work autonomously3D animation and motion skills a plusA bias towards transparency and communication plus a generous dose of humilityA deep love for startupsIf you don’t tick every box above, we’d still encourage you to apply.
