Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences in the Beaver College of Health Sciences (BCHS) at Appalachian State University invites applications for a speech-language pathology clinical specialist with expertise in cognition, language, voice, and swallowing in the adult population to provide services on our Boone and Hickory campuses and provide clinical education to graduate students. The primary worksite will be the Interprofessional Institute for Health and Human Services (IHHS) Clinic on the first floor of the new Levine Hall of Health Sciences building on the Boone campus, which includes a state-of-the-art Voice-Swallowing laboratory. The secondary worksite will be the IHHS Clinic on the App State campus in Hickory, NC. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Physical Demands of Position |
Must be able to move around a clinic, work with clients in rooms – standing, sitting, or on the floor with children, and utilize computer equipment. No other lifting or physically exerting activity is required. All duties to be performed with or without reasonable accommodations. |
