This role will be positioned within the AppleCare Support Operations and Technologies organization. The broader organization manages all of the software, tools, and infrastructure that connects our customers to technical support Advisors. From this vantage point, the selected person will partner closely with a broad team composed of members from the Contact Center, Tools, Analytics, People, Legal, and more. As a Presentation Specialist Project Manager, you are both a big picture and technically-minded professional with extraordinary presentation design and delivery, project management, analytical, and problem solving skills. You are comfortable interacting with all levels, including executive management, product teams, Legal, People, and engineering leaders and colleagues. You will help leaders craft slides into a visual story that supports their verbal delivery of important business information. You will facilitate planning meetings with all levels of leadership to collect presentation details such as tone, scope, goals and objectives, audience, and aesthetic. You will deliver high quality slides with a deadline driven focus, and also delegate and drive action items with partners assisting with presentation design and meeting logistics. You will listen closely to feedback from all levels of leadership and translate the feedback into an improved deliverable. You will assist with dry runs of the presentation content and make suggestions to presenters when appropriate. You may assist with logistics for presentation delivery, including meeting management, audience registration, WebEx setup and troubleshooting, facilitation/moderation of interactive meeting activities, and more. You will lead multiple complex, diverse projects from kickoff to completion at the same time. You will focus on the effective and strategic delivery of project updates, including overall status and risks, to a broad set of interested parties at all levels of the organization. Your key responsibilities include planning, scoping, and recommending approaches for projects which often start with little direction and lots of ambiguity. You will also be responsible for identification of root causes of a problem and implementing sustainable solutions. You will have a solid understanding of how to collect and distribute user feedback to support continuous improvement and project outcomes. This includes liaising between business teams and developers to identify business gaps and needs, then clearly defining the problem statement and its causes. You will manage multiple streams of work, using objective prioritization systems to deliver high value solutions that meet business needs. You will be responsible for ensuring that business requirements are complete and are met by proposed technology solutions. You will work with your team to establish and maintain project strategy, scope, and direction, as well as effectively communicate your project vision to partners and take steps to drive initiative alignment with business vision, strategy and deployment within the company. While leading projects, you will manage timelines, identify risks, provide alternative points of view, and clearly communicate goals to project partners. Projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, and it will be your job to keep all the players coordinated on progress and objectives. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and are consistent within the larger context of the program/project goals. In this constantly evolving team environment you will also exercise effective, independent decision-making. You will create and present compelling recommendations and strategies to senior leadership as appropriate. As a project manager within the Support Operations and Technologies organization, you will help generate and drive new initiatives to support business processes and collaboration. You will be a leader of annual project planning, portfolio management, and other business activities which support effective collaboration across different job functions and independent teams. You are a team leader with outstanding communication and problem-solving skills, with a sound operational background. You should have strong relationship skills, so as to represent the Support Operations and Technologies organization to other internal groups, and occasionally to customers, ensuring that our objectives are understood. You will ensure smooth, effective change management and implementation by coordinating support and communication with a diverse audience. You are a creative thinker, hard worker, well organized, and not afraid to go above and beyond to get the job done. You also have a record of delivering high quality results, and of taking ownership of issues and tasks. BS/BA or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred.
