We are seeking a hard-working, innovative, detail-oriented and creative team player to join our HR department as a full-time HR Generalist located in Provo, Utah. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment but also excels working at an individual level. This role is responsible for assisting with the needs from the HR Business Partner.

Maintains knowledge of trends, regulatory changes, and new technology in human resources and employment law.
Address employee relations issues such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee related concerns.
Provides timely responses to employees and management regarding employee relation matters.
Participate extensively in investigations regarding employee relations issues, but not limited to workplace conflicts, complaints, including harassment, discrimination, and disciplinary matters.
Documents employee relations matter as required in accordance with legal compliance and organizational policies.
Interpret and explain human resources policies and procedures.
Maintain and update employee handbook or directories or performance evaluations.
Evaluate selections by conducting research and conferring with management personnel.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment and regulations, and recommended best practices.
Confer with management to develop or implement personnel policies or procedures.
Maintains knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations related to EEO, affirmative action, collective bargaining, labor relations, and human resources.
Assist with needs from other Human Resources departments with needs.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education: Prefer a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations or related fields
Experience: 1-2 years of experience
Most possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions and accept constructive criticism.
Must be able to effectively communicate.
Thorough understanding of laws, regulations, and guidelines related to HR.
Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
