Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for creating and editing compelling content and effectively communicating our brand message to various target audiences. This role works collaboratively with multiple groups to create engaging written content for various sales and marketing materials, including sales proposals, website copy, newsletter and byline articles for external publications, press releases, ads, whitepapers, ebooks, case studies, fact sheets, presentations, videos, webinars, podcasts, and email campaigns.
Writing and editing samples will be required as part of our candidate evaluation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the company’s goals and target audiences. You will create content supporting new prospective clients, existing clients, and internal communities. You need to plan forward to anticipate and prepare content in advance of need.
- Manage sales proposal templates and create proposals with the support of sales and delivery teams.
- Create content supporting the client onboarding experience.
- Support the sales team and leadership with presentations and speaking engagements.
- Create engaging and persuasive copy/content that drives brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
- Produce well-researched and informative content that resonates with the target audience.
- Utilize imaging skills to create visually appealing content that enhances the overall brand experience.
- Conduct thorough research on related legal topics to ensure accuracy and relevance in content creation.
- Stay updated with industry trends and competitors’ content strategies to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure all content is SEO-friendly, optimized for search engines, and follows best practices for online visibility.
- Collaborate with designers to produce high-quality multimedia content.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and style throughout all content produced.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Legal industry experience will be a key differentiator for applicants.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in B2B content creation and marketing.
- Proficiency in Office 365 (Word and PowerPoint Expert) and basic proficiency with Adobe InDesign.
- Strong work ethic, team-player mentality, and experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment managing multiple workstreams end-to-end.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present information to a diverse audience
- Experience writing research-backed thought leadership as well as leading primary research studies from inception through completion.
- Highly organized and can project manage large initiatives with multiple stakeholders across an extended period of time.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, including experience using data and analytics to inform content strategy, measure performance, and make data-driven editorial decisions.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced and rapidly changing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.

Salary: $11.55 – $37.75 per hour
