In this role, you will help ARCO achieve strategic goals in the areas of onboarding, orientation, employee engagement and employee retention.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:
Manage end-to-end new associate onboarding and 1st week orientation for full-time hires (between 100-150 full-time hires a year).
Manage onboarding and orientation process for 40-50 interns and co-ops each year.
Manage all logistics for full-time new hires, including but not limited to jobsite placement, travel logistics (flight, hotel, rental vehicle, housing), company truck logistics, etc.)
Run 1st day HR orientation for all new hires and help coordinate 1st day IT orientation.
Coordinate with wide range of team members who have involvement in new hire activities including: Talent Acquisition, Benefits, IT, Safety, Administration, Facilities, Fleet, Accounting, etc. to ensure a seamless onboarding plan is in place for all new hires.
Complete onboarding check-ins with all full-time hires (1st Friday and 30/60/90 day check-ins).
Work with leadership team to determine On-The-Job (OTJ) Trainer and Mentor assignments for all new hires.
Supporting the HR Business Partner run the ARCO Mentor program, including coaching and supporting leaders and mentors to ensure they are providing the best possible mentorship to new associates.
Contribute to other projects as assigned
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
2-4 years of Human Resources Experience
1-3 years of HR orientation/onboarding experience
Bachelor’s Degree required, Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business, Communication or related field preferred
Strong communication and people skills
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to work on multiple tasks while successfully meeting established goals and deadlines
Is positive, upbeat, and has fun
