Supply Chain Manager
Tenure: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Chandler, Arizona
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee the Supply chain
related activities involving Inventory control, stock planning, warehouse supervision and Maintains good
relationship with logistics partners .
Duties/Responsibilities:
Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources
needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors
affecting the supply chain.
Develops and maintains detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company,
at sites, and in the factory.
Provides timely updates to Manufacturing Manager on all supply chain and logistics related
issues.
Maintains required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production.
Manages warehouses operations including receiving, storing, kitting, and inventory control
Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of
supply chain and profitability for the company.
Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and
safety; implements subsequent changes to processes.
Identifies optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of
warehousing and distribution.
Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as all company policies.
Assesses the need for material-handling equipment and staffing; makes recommendations to
ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials.
Participates as an advisory member of the product development team, providing information
and guidance on availability and cost of supplies and materials.
Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery
requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in a relevant discipline is required.
APICS or ISM certification preferred.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience is required with at least 3 years of Supervisory
role.
Must have knowledge of supply chain management practices; ERP and inventory
management; production and processing (knowledge of raw materials,
production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for
maximizing the effective manufacture goods.
Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and global sourcing preferred.
Excellent decision making, Strong Leadership skills. Problem solving skills,
analytical skills.
Must have strong Computer skills and experience on Excel and Microsoft word.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain
positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
