Responsibilities

• Review and record invoices from vendors to ensure accuracy in billing
• Process expense reports from employees. Identify discrepancies and resolve in appropriate manner
• Have knowledge of vendors and policies to avoid paying unauthorized invoices and expenses
• Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
• Processing due invoices for payments
• Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
• Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in accounts payable role
• Strong understanding of General Ledger system and Accounts Payable processing
• Strong organizational, analytical and recording skills
• Detail oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Comfortable learning new systems and processes
