ASAP Solutions is filling a HR Generalist role for a client in Atlanta (midtown) on a direct hire basis. This position is approved to be 100% remote however you must be able to work ET zone normal business hours. In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective internal client relationships, programs, policies and procedures to help drive operational efficiency and compliance, and to cultivate a productive, professional, friendly, and respectful workplace. HR Generalist
Responsibilities:
* Help foster and drive a positive relationship between Human Resources and internal staff.
* Acts as HR consultant between management and employees to drive a positive culture and work environment aligned to the organizations’ policies, practices and processes.
* Specialty and experience background with Compensation & Benefits programs, ability to create, design and develop organizational growth and career pathing steps and benchmark competitive market data, experienced using various salary surveys and preparing management data for merit process
* Collect and analyze human resources data and prepare recommendations and solutions.
* Design, develop and implement best practices & trends for human resources policies and procedures.
* Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of employee policies and procedures.
* Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees.
* Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
* Handles employee relations counseling issues and internal investigations when needed.
* Ability to conduct HR training on various HR issues.
* Experience with performance and talent management processes and initiatives.
* International HR experience helpful.
Qualifications:
* A bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of HR experience preferred. SPHR or PHR preferred but not required.
* Prior experience using ADP WorkForce Now preferred.
* Demonstrated experience with total rewards, compensation and benefits programs.
* A high degree of competence with Microsoft Office Suite and basic understanding of common IT tasks (maintaining passwords, using remote access, basic administration, email, etc.), a familiarity with SharePoint is desired
* Experience servicing an internal customer base with a high degree of focus on customer service.
* An in-depth understanding of labor and HR legal requirements as well as experience with Employee Relations / Investigations required.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills.
* Excellent organizational and data management skills.
* Ability to handle confidential information in a professional and discreet manner.
* Flexible, reliable, dependable, prompt, timely, initiative and high level of work ethic.
