AscendTek, a telecommunications company, is seeking a Project Controls Manager for our Hawaii market. Offices in Kapolei, HI.

A project controls manager oversees construction projects to make sure the team makes progress and meets goals.

Requirements:

• Daily commute to the offices in Kapolei.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field required.
• At least four years of experience in building trade required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Extensive knowledge of construction and customer requirements and planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with computerized materials control programs.

Responsibilities:

• Liaison between operations and finance departments with regards to customer invoicing and collections
• Collaborates with the customers, finance and operations departments to identify and resolve invoicing concerns.
• Collaborates with the Customer and Operations departments to ensure exchange of documents, correspondences and other deliverables are complete and timely.
• Onboarding new projects into the project management software and ensuring all initial documents and information required for the project to progress are complete, accurate and populated.
• Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
• Ensures necessary information related to labor, materials, vendor, sub-contractor and other expenses are being input properly and timely.
• Identifies any bottlenecks or delays in project management software processes; develop and implement solutions to the workflow to mitigate the disruption.
• Create sites/build plans in the software system
• Create quotes and sales orders as needed
• Request PO’s from customer and enter PO’s in software system
• Track all customer quotes and change orders along with their associated PO’s
• Invoice customers
• Liaison between operations and finance
• Provide support to Project Managers as needed
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
