Respond to telephone and/or Internet inquiries from customers seeking information and/or resources, following a set standard. Collect relevant caller data to assist with measurement, tracking and reporting activities. Track inquires, questions and answers and provide resolution. Perform additional clerical duties as assigned. Requirements Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable. Additional Preferences We are looking for a dynamic candidate for our Operator position. Experience in a Call Center environment, preferably Healthcare. Must have strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening. Must be able to focus on customer service and maintain professional demeanor with customers, co-workers and hospital staff. Must have good computer skills, be able type 25-30 words a minute accurately. Must be able handle high call volume, locate on call staff following a detailed protocol and execute emergency procedures in a calm manner.
