ASCM San Diego Hiring for Instructor, Supply Chain & Operations Management Job at Tucson, AZ Full Time

The Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) San Diego Chapter is looking for instructors in Southern Arizona to join our organization and help meet the mission of supporting the community’s education needs in the business areas of supply chain & operations management.

Courses to be taught will include certification exam preparation and other certificate courses at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.

Essential Job Functions & Duties:

• Deliver quality instruction to adult learners in a public and private setting, in person and/or virtually
• Prepare adequately for delivery of instruction, develop lesson plans and exercises
• Prepare the classroom as required by learners’ needs to include media and seating setup
• Manage media and IT assets to effectively deliver content visually without extensive disruption
• Create an energetic and engaging learning environment that draws the learner in to guarantee comprehension
• Ensure diversity of instruction and facilitation to ensure all learning styles and needs are met
• Enhance learning by providing stories and insights from direct industry experience
• Continually improve the process to ensure feedback is incorporated
• As the “face of the Chapter” to customer, represent the organization in ensuring customer focus and satisfaction

Candidates must currently hold a valid active certification from the following list, or be willing to obtain one within 6 to 8 months. Candidates must also be willing to take a 16 hour train the trainer course and participate in a mentorship program prior to obtaining full instructor endorsement.

• CPIM – Certified in Planning & Inventory Management
• CSCP – Certified Supply Chain Professional
• CLTD – Certified in Logistics, Transportation & Distribution
• SCOR-P – Supply Chain Operations Reference Professional Endorsement
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt

Prior teaching and facilitation experience is preferred, especially for supply chain and operations management topics.

Applicants must possess real-world experience in supply chain and operations management roles.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 – $85.00 per hour
