Associated Skin Care Specialists Hiring for HR Generalist at New Brighton, MN Full Time

Associated Skin Care Specialists is seeking a HR Generalist to assist the organization supporting all facets of HR. Will be a team member within the Administration department. This position is part-time approx. 30 hrs per week. Flexible hours available.

Duties/ Responsibilities

• Communicate and ensure compliance with company policies/procedures and government regulations regarding HR.
• Manages employee benefit programs. Including health, dental, life, COBRA, Flex, disability insurance, and 401K enrollments/changes. Communicates with providers concerning routine administration of programs.
• Manages open enrollment period. Arranges for distribution of material from carriers, assists with communicating changes to employees and arranges for on-site representation. Processes changes within deadlines and maintains enrollment forms accordingly.
• Administers FMLA and/or personal leave for employees.
• Conducts hiring process by coordinating job postings through various outlets, reviewing resumes, coordinates and participates in interviews and performs reference checks. Coordinates and conducts orientation for new employees.
• Prepares performance review and annual salary forms and monitors those reviews are being completed on a timely basis.
• Reports workers compensation claims and acts as liaison between employee and insurance carrier. Reviews unemployment claims and completes appeals in a thorough and timely matter.
• Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in related field with 5 years’ experience preferred
• Solid understanding of human resource processes and knowledge (i.e., Employment Law, Government Regulations, Recruitment, Selection, and Retention)
• Strong PC skills to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to handle confidential information
