Our Opportunity (Hybrid/Onsite)

Our AWG team is looking for a Senior Human Resources Manager with demonstrated ability to think big, deliver on large-scale initiatives, and lead teams through complex challenges. As the business partner to our corporate teams, you will collaborate with leaders in Supply Chain Management as well as our support functions to drive strategy and engagement.

This is an impactful and hands-on role for an experienced HR professional who has both the aptitude and expertise to advise and influence strategically. We will look to you to develop and execute programs, processes and tactical requirements of the business. This role will act as a visible partner to the business and is the primary point of contact between the line organizations and HR senior management to address business needs touching all HR functions and capabilities including employee engagement & culture, talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards and employee relations.

This role reports into the Vice President, Human Resources and also supervises two Corporate Human Resources Generalists. You will fit in well if you are positive, thrive in an open and honest work environment, and demonstrate the highest level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.

What You’ll Do

• Leads talent management and organizational planning strategies and processes to develop world-class executive talent. This includes supporting business partners in our annual company-wide performance management process (PMP) and Talent Planning Process (TPP).

• Collaborate with business partners and our centralized Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager on hiring strategies, and play a key role in hiring exempt professionals and managers for our corporate teams.

• Counsel employees and management on conflict resolution, complex associate relations issues, performance management, compensation and other confidential Human Resources matters including delivering corrective action and termination decisions to associates.

• Conduct complex or advanced thorough, effective and objective internal investigations as needed. Partner with legal when needed.

• Manage the AWG Summer Intern Program. This involves working with business partners on intern staffing needs, campus recruiting, and development and execution of intern program over the summer.

• Manage our employee engagement survey and pulse survey processes. Collaborate with business partners to create employee engagement plans, getting management and employees to maintain certain standards set by the organization.

• Lead our Learning and Development efforts and provide support for our Learning Management System (LMS). Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.

What You’ll Need

• BA/BS degree from a four-year accredited university.
• Demonstrated success proven through steady career progression within varied HR roles for the last 7 – 10+ years.
• Experience supporting corporate business partners.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities simultaneously – orientated on driving results.
• Experience managing teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree: MBA or Masters
• Demonstrated success with stretch assignments that are evidence of superior performance in previous roles (e.g., varied experiences to include but not limited to start-ups, turn-arounds, international assignments, and rapid growth business environments).
• Experience in workforce planning/flex staffing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $112,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
