Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-Time Medical Records Assistant for Pulmonary & Allergy Associates, part of Atlantic Medical Group, to work 9AM – 5PM.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Scan documents into EPIC following policies and procedures
- Responsible for tracking, retrieving, and performing follow-up activities on health records
- Send and collate faxes, mail, and emails
- Back-up support for front end
- Process and follow up with medical records request
- Maintain a daily productivity log of scanning and indexing activities provided
- Interaction with patients demonstrating PRIDE values
- Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associates Degree in business administration or healthcare management preferred
Minimum Experience:
- 2 years as a unit associate, medical office associate, HIM or administrative assistant preferred
- Working knowledge of EPIC, Microsoft Office 365 required
- Good communication and interpersonal skills required
