We manage complex supply chains globally. This position requires out-of-the-box freight forwarding skills and expertise.
We are seeking a self-starter that has air/ocean, import/export operational, and clerical documentation experience.
Core job responsibilities:
- Be familiar with international air/ocean import/export, documentation, and cargo handling procedures.
- Be familiar with warehouse operations.
- Certified forklift operator or willing to get certified.
- Familiarity with common transportation and warehouse management systems (TMS/WMS)* Experience with MAGAYA is strongly preferred
- Ability to self-manage, and prioritize duties.
- Perform hands-on warehouse operations and logistics functions.
- Track and account for all shipments inbound and outbound (I/B – O/B).
- Confirm proper and timely delivery of shipments.
- Perform various inventory counts, measure and weigh I/B – O/B cargo
- Maintain shipping documentation, manifests, and receipts; enter relevant data in reports as needed.
- Ensure that cargo matches packing lists before dispatching orders.
- Ensure proper transport, packaging, and stowage of cargo.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, vendors, and team members.
- Escalate issues to the management team and recommend potential solutions.
- Track in-bound and out-bound inventory.
- Adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations.
- A “get the job done” type of personality
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Must complete OSHA 30-hour training within the first three months of employment.
- At least 1-2 years of warehouse experience is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
