The Patient Access Program Manager will accelerate the practice and provider adoption of the Company’s Patient Access Program through coordination with the field sales organization. This position will develop, lead, and manage all of Company’s Patient Access Program and the vendors involved in executing program. This may include programs where a case management team needs to be built. This position will serve as Company’s Patient Access Program subject matter expert and will be responsible for educating and training the field sales team to effectively respond to their customers’ needs.
Responsibilities:
·Lead patient-centered access programs and processes that pulls qualified patients from awareness through engagement to treatment
·Leverage patient access programmatic data and analytical capabilities to drive functional stakeholder insights that improve overall patience access performance
·Provide program awareness, education, and training in concert with the field sales team to physicians and office staff
· Develop clear and concise messaging around the patient access program to customers
· Drive physician utilization and satisfaction with program engagement
· Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the overall process is running smoothly and efficiently and provide strategic insight to areas of improvement.
· Develop and lead patient market access program communication strategy that carries from patient awareness all the way through to implant
· Collaborate with field sales to ensure patient barriers are removed or addressed, and internal and external resources are aligned to facilitate the process
· Actively build relationships with internal or external customers
· Ensure compliance with company compliance policy, in particular patient confidentiality (HIPAA) in all Company’s practices
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree (business, heath economics, life sciences or public health) required
· 5-7 years’ experience in a medical office or hospital setting with coding and prior authorization experience
· Experience implementing patient access programs preferred
· Ability to work in fast paced start up environment
· Proven knowledge of health insurance industry practices/functions to include Medicare, Medicaid, and all types of commercial and managed care organization’s coverage policies
· Customer facing and patient engagement skills; experience in patient education is a plus.
· Demonstrate excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
· Clear written and verbal communication skills, both in-person and over all forms of electronics communication
· Knowledge and skillset around leveraging and utilizing the Salesforce platform, including system tools, integration components, reporting, etc.
· Experience with digital tools to enhance process efficiency (i.e., DocuSign, web-based forms, etc.)
· Proficient in computer operations, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and basic database management.
· Problem solver and capable to find solutions to challenges or process impediments.
· Maintains a caring, empathetic, and patient-centric approach in all interactions.
MUST HAVE MED DEVICE EXPERIENCE.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $160,000.00 – $220,000.00 per year
