Responsibilities
Oversee health, welfare, retirement, and leave programs.
Resolve system issues with HR Systems, Payroll, Leave of Absence, and external partners.
Negotiate service agreements for employer-sponsored plans.
Analyze trends, fees, and service utilization.
Support compliance processes, including monthly plan reviews.
Recommend program enhancements and strategies aligned with business goals.
Assist in RFPs by evaluating proposals and offering insights.
Ensure compliance with regulations, including ACA and ERISA.
Prepare required reports for non-discrimination testing, taxes, and annual documents.
Review and recommend plan adjustments based on legislative updates.
Oversee documentation, including Form 5500, SPDs, and other communications.
Collaborate on yearly budget with Total Rewards and Finance teams.
Manage rate table updates in HRIS and vendor integrations.
Act as an escalation point and lead resource for the Benefits team.
Lead company projects such as Open Enrollment and division-specific initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor s in HR, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
4+ years in health plan management; 2+ years in health plan administration and solution development.
Advanced knowledge of medical, dental, vision, Section 125 plans, and related laws.
Familiarity with HRIS systems (Oracle HCM, Workday, or similar).
Strong understanding of ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and relevant federal and state regulations.
