Job Summary
The Associate
Director of Residence Life serves as a senior member of the Housing and Residence Life leadership team for the Housing and Residence Life
department at Augusta University. The Associate Director’s primary responsibilities include: staff supervision, program development,
retention initiatives, staff training, and management of daily operations for residential facilities. Secondary responsibilities include,
but are not limited to administrative functions, room assignments, and facilities management. The Associate Director helps to create
personal growth experiences by facilitating student development opportunities, as well as developing a sense of community for the
residential program.

Required Qualifications
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of
three years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree from accredited college or
university in Student Affairs, Higher Education, or related field and a minimum of five years of full-time progressively responsible
experience in Student Affairs with a minimum of one year of full-time responsible experience in supervision of various levels of staff (i.e.
professional, graduate, paraprofessional). Nabita certifications.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases
Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days;
Monday – Friday (work outside of the normal business hours will likely be required of an employee in an exempt level position)
Pay
Grade: 17
Salary Minimum: $44,967 – Midpoint: $60,705
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate
within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position

to provide proof of completed academic degree(s) as well as post-secondary coursework in the form of original transcript(s). Those
candidates trained by a foreign institution will also be required to provide an educational/credential evaluation.

Credit Check
