The opportunity
This is a great role for someone who is looking for an opportunity that they can make their own and hold a lot of autonomy in how they run their day. You’ll work remotely with a great team who are working in various geographical locations around the world.
Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expenses, vacation, and other
Conduct employee onboarding/offboarding, being responsible for and liaising directly with all appropriate organs of the business to ensure smooth arrivals
Creating onboarding plans and educating new hires on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations
Ensuring employee records are up-to-date in HRIS
Development, implementation and maintenance of all internal policies and procedures
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
Partner with Recruitment Director to ensure a smooth and effective run of the HR function
Development of Employee Handbook
Maintain and enhance employee referral program
Administering employee leave and pay
Organisation of employee performance reviews and bonus communication
Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees
Requirements:
10+ years of proven experience as HR professional
Global HR experience a plus
HR experience with a focus on Asian market a big plus
Extensive knowledge of HRIS
Experience with implementing HRIS a big plus
Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools
Startup experience a plus
Deep understanding of general HR policies and procedures a must
Good understanding of labor law and employment equity relations a must
Degree in HR, business administration, communication or relevant field
Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong empathy leadership and coaching skills
Attention to detail and analytically driven
