Automated Systems Design Hiring for Telecommunication Technician Job at Peachtree Corners, GA Full Time

What you will be doing:

• Managing tickets generated through ServiceNow to support customer needs.

• Responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing various structured cabling systems, including data communication circuits for security cameras, panic systems, door access, and network devices.

• Organizing and completing the day-to-day technical operations assigned through work orders and servicing trouble calls.

• Identifying technical faults through diagnostic testing and planning accordingly for repairs or replacements.

• Investigating and resolving customer escalations in a timely manner.

• Maintaining a safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal regulations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate is a hard-working and experienced telecommunications technician who will perform all duties pertaining to the installation and general upkeep of customers’ telecommunication systems. They should also be proficient in the following:

• Category 5e

• Category 6

• Fiber Optic Cable Terminations

• Moves, Adds & Changes

• As-builts documentation

• Testing (working knowledge of Fluke Tester is preferred)

Required Skills:

• Telecommunication system analysis, troubleshooting, and repair.

• Knowledge of theories and techniques for implementing and maintaining private and public telecommunications networks, including equipment operation and use.

• Effective oral/written communication and strong interpersonal skills.

• Must be familiar with twisted pair, fiber, and coax installation methods and color coding conventions.

• The ability to work well under pressure.

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
