Materials Manager – For world class manufacturer of electronics products for automotive and commercial transportation applications.
Ideal candidates should possess 5+ years of production and materials control experience, in an automotive supplier environment.
Department size of 10 plus employees to include shipping supervisors, shipping analysts, material handlers and cycle counters.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Manages all aspects of Production and Inventory Control, Shipping/Receiving and Transportation Coordination.
· Maintains an accurate database of customer requirements.
· Ensures the accuracy of on-time deliveries, shipping quantities and tagging/labeling.
· Ensures accurate, timely electronic communication through ASN’s, EDI, and Bar Coding.
· Reviews premium freight charges on a monthly basis and takes corrective action if required.
· Responsibility for accurate inventories and audit of those inventories.
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree preferred and 5+ years of materials, production control or shipping supervisory experience in the automotive industry. Experience can be substituted for degree.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
