A locally owned, 30+ year old manufacturing company, with 60+ employees, and a proven record of leadership, engagement, and investment in its people, is looking to add to the leadership team as they continue to grow. Here are the technical bits:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for directing the planning, development, implementation, and administration, of all Human Resources functions, including but not limited to the following: recruitment, employee relations, compensation/benefits, organizational development, and wellness programs. You will develop and drive creative HR initiatives and activities. You will also advise company management in Human Resources policy and program matters.
We would like you to have:
Broad generalist background including coaching and counseling, performance management, employee involvement, teambuilding, as well as compensation and benefits
Thorough knowledge of HR principles and federal/local regulations and laws
Must have demonstrated success in recruiting and retaining employee talent, including creating and implementing recruitment strategies
Exceptional project and personnel management skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is essential
Exhibit discretion, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our management team
Strong technology skills including experience with HRIS is essential and experience with Paycor is a plus
Some of the things you’ll be responsible for doing are:
Developing and administering various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; and participating in developing goals, objectives, and systems
Implementing and updating compensation programs; conducting salary surveys and analyzing compensation.
Developing, recommending, and implementing personnel policies and procedures, as well as maintaining the Employee Handbook
Performing benefit administration to include annual re-evaluation of policies for cost and benefit effectiveness, evaluating vendor performance, and directing employee enrollments.
Developing and implementing strategic recruitment plan; ensuring selection of highly qualified personnel
Recommending new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of Human Resources and services performed
Participating in staff meetings; attending other meetings with business partners
Staying up to date with all applicable employment laws and regulations and ensuring proper advisement to the team to ensure compliance.
Ensure proper record keeping and filing of all required reports for safety, benefits, 401k, and employment.
Manage and develop training programs.
Ensure effective utilization of the HRIS, Paycor.
Develop and maintain the company wellness program.

Competitive salary range with total compensation depending on experience
Health insurance with an employee cost of only $10 per week. The company also reimburses the employee $2,000 of a deductible and $1000 of any coinsurance costs.
