Responsibilities:
Oversee the coordination of administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance
Research, analyze, and administer healthcare plans and wellness programs to include, medical and dental benefits, disability, life insurance, and family leave
Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as employee leave, compensation, and benefits related matters
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; rewards and recognition, and training and development.
Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments
Maintain employee electronic files and records
Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization, and to improve employee experience
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of experience working in the human resources field
At least 3+ years of experience in benefits administration, compliance, employee relations, HR operations, and HRIS management.
Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
Knowledge of HR federal laws and regulations
Excellent communication and people skills
High level of customer service skills
Strong detail-oriented
Aptitude in problem-solving
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
SHRM certification a plus
Experience working with UKG UltiPro HRIS system
