Our organization is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team. Our Direct Support Professionals are responsible for helping adults with disabilities become fully functioning members of society. While every day is different, you can expect to assist individuals in a variety of activities including preparing meals, helping on outings, and assisting with personal care. Responsibilities:
- Observe individuals to determine their needs.
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Activities include assisting people in their homes with activities of daily living, such as eating and bathing; report changes in individuals’ conditions to nurses, social workers, and other care providers; provide care to individuals who are at risk of losing their ability to perform self-care tasks.
- Interpret rules and policies for staff and clients; monitor implementation of rules.
