Position Overview:
As a Warehouse Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing the daily operations of our warehouse facility. You will coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Your leadership skills and strong organizational abilities will contribute to the seamless functioning of our warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
Workflow Management: Plan, prioritize, and delegate tasks to team members, ensuring timely completion of tasks such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods.
Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and reconciliations, promptly addressing discrepancies and ensuring proper stock levels are maintained.
Order Fulfillment: Coordinate the picking and packing of customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely shipment to meet delivery deadlines.
Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that all products leaving the warehouse meet established standards and are in excellent condition.
Safety Compliance: Foster a culture of safety awareness by adhering to and promoting all safety protocols and guidelines, conducting regular safety meetings, and addressing potential hazards promptly.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper utilization of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication across departments, ensuring all team members are informed of relevant updates and issues.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline warehouse processes, optimize workflows, and enhance overall efficiency, suggesting and implementing necessary improvements.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities, including receiving, shipping, returns, and inventory adjustments.
Reporting: Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as order fulfillment rates, inventory accuracy, and productivity metrics, and use this data to drive improvements.
Training: Conduct ongoing training sessions for new and existing warehouse team members, ensuring they are well-versed in company procedures and safety guidelines.
Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any operational issues or challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.
