Summary
This position works to advance the ministry of Awana by collaborating with leaders and employees across all levels of the organization to deliver forward-thinking talent management and organizational development strategies.
This HR role will support Awana talent development activities and programs by shepherding a positive and professional employee experience, start to finish, and by being a resource to leadership in talent and team development. This hands-on role will need to be able to flex between strategic and tactical work depending on priorities and needs, as well as apply leadership and coaching skills to build and develop talent.

Must be a born-again Christian. Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Must be in agreement with the Awana Doctrinal Statement. Must be in fellowship with the body of Christ through a local church. Regularly engages in reading the Holy Bible as a guide and standard for living.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate in person, via phone and/or “zoom”, and in written/electronic form. The employee is also required to regularly utilize computer equipment (e.g., screens and keyboards) to perform work. The employee is required to move about the work environment, including as requested/needed, working from a worksite other than the chosen remote worksite. The employee may be required to travel from time-to-time as well. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision. Occasional lifting and moving items under 25 lbs. may be required.
