Driver Requirements: *CDL with Hazmat Endorsement Required: Class A Preferred, Class B is required
Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive different kinds of trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Plan trip logistics and obtained necessary documents to transport goods.
- Load and unload products.
- Ensure material is secured properly and compliant with safety requirements.
- Follow safety procedures for transporting hazardous goods.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspection of the vehicle.
- Manage bills of lading.
- Maintain log books.
- Communicate with the dispatcher, other drivers, and customers by means of wireless devices and onboard computers.
- Report any incidents to the dispatcher.
- Follow all appropriate traffic laws.
- Report serious mechanical problems to the managers.
- Keep truck and equipment tidy and in good working condition.
- All applicants must include DMV Driver’s Abstract with resume
NYC Vaccine Requirement:
